Hi! I'm Alison...a mom of 2 high-maintenance boys, 2 cats, and some Sea Monkey's. I've had a creative streak for my entire life, and in my adulthood have dabbled in several things...I started to learn to knit, but found that all of the things I wanted to make were with patterns and needles I didn't understand...I took up an expensive collection of stamps and began cardmaking for quite some time, but my card corner has been blocked for a while and I haven't stamped in almost a year (though I have a nice collection of ready-made cards!)...and I have just taken up crochet! I find crochet much easier than knitting both to learn and work and have been on a spree of creating since I stumbled upon an Amigurumi book in the bookstore over my family vacation in mid-July!
